Every minute of every single day, the equivalent of a truckload of plastic gets dumped into our oceans. The problem with plastic is that it doesn’t just break down and go away. It ends up polluting our oceans, waterways, and communities. Our world is literally being suffocated in the name of convenience and profit. We have to find a way to reduce the production of plastic, especially single use plastics, in the world. From plastic bottles, to cups, and straws that get used once and then thrown away, there is great harm being done to our planet.
