The Alley is a vibrant eatery and cantina located in the heart of historic downtown Littleton. Prior to their grand opening, we were challenged to create a brand that pays homage to Littleton’s roots, yet embraces the future.
To accomplish this, we infused the old with the new, the historic with the modern. The primary mark was developed with this collaboration in mind. The serif font is a subtle nod to the town’s history, while the modern sans serif font speaks to the future. The icon reinforces this infusion, taking a modern twist on a Mayan-inspired symbol. The result is ‘Mountain Mexican’ at its finest.
In addition to the branding itself, we created logos for historic Littleton businesses that would be featured in the restaurant. These logos bring the town’s history front and center and are a reminder of those who helped make Littleton what it is today.

Silver City is a saloon and eatery located in the iconic Elks Building in the heart of Aspen, Colorado. This historic landmark was built during the Silver boom in 1891. With its western flair and vintage imagery throughout, the saloon was designed to pay homage to Aspen’s western roots.
To promote this mountain saloon, we created a print and social campaign using old-timey vernacular paired with intricately designed fonts and ornate silver details.

At Jaguar Coffee, there’s a story in every sip. Cups hold more than coffee; they carry the pride and beauty of Latin American heritage. The founders are lifelong friends who have a shared ancestry of Michoacán, Mexico, a region whose heritage and heart is tasted in every cup. To them, coffee is a time for family, for slowing down, for laughter, and for connection as they tell stories over freshly baked breads and coffee. Their mission is not only to share their coffee with the world, but also share their heritage.
To bring the Jaguar Coffee story to life and pay homage to its heritage, we expanded their existing brand to infuse a series of Latin American-inspired secondary and tertiary marks. The typography is a blend of ornate serif and scripted fonts paired with a modern sans serif to create a clean and bold look. In addition to the marks, we also created a Spanish tile graphic that tells a much deeper story of their ancestry, coffee farming, roasting, and Michoacán itself. The result is a coffee brand as rich in storytelling as it is in flavor.

Frannie’s is a charming donut shop located in the heart of Sanford, Maine. This quaint, family-run shop is home to the sweet creations of the Hanselman family. Each family member is involved in the donut shop - right down to their pug, Frannie who is the inspiration for the shop’s name.
To reinforce that Frannie’s Mini Donuts are fresh, fun and family-run, we infused a bright and cheerful color palette with whimsical fonts and topped it all off with a hint of retro style. The heart-shape donut design reinforces that Frannie’s is a family affair and that these sweet mini creations are made with love. The result is a brand design that is as sweet as the donut shop itself.
A brand designed to open doors. Literally. Broadway Collective is a creative co-working space located on South Broadway in Englewood, Colorado. This space was designed as a central hub for creative & forward-thinking businesses to converge, collaborate and succeed. Here, ideas are championed. Possibilities are elevated. Dreams are realized.
Inspired by the mid-century modern meets art deco style that was thoughtfully infused into the space itself, we crafted the brand design to pay homage to the building’s mid-mod roots.
The tagline, “The Point of Converging” was designed to reinforce that Broadway Collective is a central hub and the brand icon supports this sentiment by featuring mid mod deco design that is quite literally points converging in a circle.
The color palette pays homage to the mod deco style featuring a bronze, teal and accented with a vintage green and warm cream. The typography is a retro sans serif with intricate layers of lines infused with a vintage script. The result is a brand design that celebrates the past while looking towards the future.

A brand design for a modern-day storyteller. Introducing, Caitlin Rose Writes–a Denver based writer, public relations pro, museum lover, girl mom, and aspiring children’s book author.
We crafted the Caitlin Rose Writes brand design to highlight the polished yet fun style of Caitlin Rose herself. Much like the pink typewriter that serves as the cornerstone for the design, this brand was crafted with a feminine, elegant and polished aesthetic and topped with a slightly whimsical style.
The primary mark infuses a rose in a quill pen and pairs it with a retro-style serif font to reinforce the playful yet sophisticated vibe. We also crafted a series of whimsical rose and pen inspired illustrations to highlight her writing services. The brand palette utilizes a rich dark green paired with a dusty rose tone to reinforce her modern and feminine aesthetic. The result is a brand design as elegant and witty as Caitlin Rose herself.
Wash Perk is a neighborhood coffee shop located near the iconic Washington Park in Denver, Colorado. Created with the idea of community in mind, Wash Perk takes pride in their laid-back atmosphere, inviting customers to enjoy craft creations and stay awhile.
To reinforce the idea of community and match the shop’s eclectic vibe, we created a brand that’s equally relaxed and inviting. The primary font is artisan inspired and gives a subtle nod to Washington Park by emphasizing the “E” in Perk. The icon also speaks to the location by featuring an aspen tree and incorporating a stained-glass design that is prominent throughout the shop. The result is a craft-focused, community-centered, laid-back brand as welcoming as the coffee shop itself.
A brand design for a coffee shop that focuses on one thing—treating everyone with kindness. Oh, and truly outstanding craft coffee, of course. HumanKind Coffee is a Boulder coffee shop that invites its patrons to gather, connect, and enjoy delicious coffee in a welcoming atmosphere by treating everyone with ... you guessed it ... kindness. Their motto, “Human Kind: Be Both,” serves as a reminder that all are welcome in this fun and eclectic shop.
We created a suite of brand marks to reinforce the concept of kindness by pairing hand-drawn and script fonts with whimsical heart illustrations while infusing a warm and inviting color palette. To speak to the level of care that goes into each cup of coffee, as well as reinforce the shop’s welcoming vibe, we also created a series of clever coffee- and hand-focused illustrations. The result is a fun and eclectic brand with a personality as kind as the coffee shop itself.
Dreamed up during the pandemic shutdown as a way to spread positivity when the world needed it most, a mother and daughter duo launched Wild Ones Threads, a children’s apparel brand designed to empower kids to be brave, bold, and kind. All the apparel is designed with positive sayings to empower kids to “own their wild.” The tagline, “Be you. Stay true. Own your Wild,” is a call to action to inspire kids to be themselves and to be proud of who they are.
The mantra is a rallying cry to come together to make the world a brighter place: We are the ones with messy hair, bare feet, and a wild, untamed spirit. We have kind hearts, brave souls, and fierce minds. Things look different from our point of view. We see a world where kindness matters and anything is possible. Where we rise by lifting others and love always wins. We’re proud to be ourselves and let our imaginations guide us. We are the ones who take the road less traveled and know that together, we will change the world.
The brand design is a combination of whimsical hand-drawn and script fonts paired with a nature-inspired color palette and topped off with a moon-and-stars icon that reinforces staying wild and howling at the moon. The result is a brand design as wild and free as the kids it inspires.

The result is an eco-friendly brand that looks as good as it is for the environment.
Compass Fitness is changing the Denver fitness scene, by offering a wide array of personal- and group-training classes – all conveniently located under one roof. To promote this high-energy and multifaceted gym, they needed a brand that was equally versatile and bold.
The idea: Compass Fitness. Find your direction.
With the wide variety of classes offered, Compass Fitness allows their members to explore and find their best fit. The brand identity was designed with this adventurist attitude in mind. The sans-serif font is a subtle nod to strength and fitness, while the script font creates a sense of movement and exploration. The directional elements in the primary and secondary logos reinforce the tagline and serve as a reminder that personal fitness is a journey, not a destination.
Queensberry Rules Coffee (previously Black Eye Coffee) is located in the iconic LoHi neighborhood of Denver. Before becoming the beautiful coffee house we know today, the building served another kind of brew—Coors beer, to be exact. During the Prohibition era, the neighborhood was home to speakeasies, gambling, and back-alley boxing—which is how Black Eye Coffee got its name. When the shop changed ownership, we wanted to create a name that paid homage to the shop’s rich history while evolving the brand. Cue Queensberry Rules. Introduced in 1865, the Queensberry Rules were a set of boxing rules which turned the street fighting sport into the “gentleman’s sport” of today. It seemed only natural that Queensberry Rules would become the new name for this classy, craft-focused, service-oriented coffee house.
The rebrand highlights this attention to detail through a series of ornate marks designed to transport customers back to the 1800s. The designs reflect the level of care poured into each cup of coffee, as well as the level of service customers have come to expect. The typography is a combination of an ornate vintage serif font paired with an elegant script font reinforcing the brand’s promise of hospitality and quality of service. The result is a coffee house brand with a past as intriguing and flavorful as the coffee it serves.
An orthodontics practice whose mission is to make patients smile deserves a brand that does just that. At Vroman Orthodontics, they strive to be the best part of their patient’s day by delivering state-of-the-art care in a fun and friendly atmosphere. To showcase just how fun this practice truly is, we created a smiling monogram along with a series of marks and icons that are sure to put a smile on your face. Every interaction with the brand tells a piece of the story – from the playfulness of the visual design and the vibrancy of the color palette to the wittiness of the social campaigns, this brand has smiles for days – literally.
Compass Wellness is the next evolution of Compass Fitness. They have created a holistic approach to health and wellness by offering an expansive range of high-intensity, low-impact small group training classes, personal training, nutrition, massage therapy, and physical therapy–all conveniently located under one roof. To promote this fusion of fitness, health, and wellness, they needed a brand as equally dynamic.
With their wide variety of services, the Compass family encourages members to explore and find their best fit. The brand identity was designed with this adventurist mindset. The sans-serif font is a subtle nod to strength, while the script font creates a sense of movement and exploration. The directional elements reinforce the brand’s tagline, “Find your Direction,” and serve as a reminder that wellness is a journey, not a destination.
To showcase all that Denver has to offer to business leaders, site selectors, and talent across the country, we created an educational initiative that helps broaden the perceptions of Denver. Kofenya is a local coffee shop on the campus of Miami University in the heart of Oxford, Ohio. Due to their location, most of their customers are students, faculty, and alumni of the university. Thanks to Kofenya’s friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, the coffee shop is considered a home away from home to many.
To honor this loyal patronage, we were tasked with refreshing Kofenya’s brand to pay homage to the university.
To accomplish this, we created a family crest-inspired logo. The crest pays tribute to the university by pairing a modernized collegiate font with an illustration of the state, serving as a reminder that Kofenya is your second family.
CHOW (Culinary Hospitality Outreach and Wellness) is a Denver-based nonprofit connecting restaurant and hospitality workers with mental health resources. CHOW hosts virtual and in-person group meetings to help improve the lives of those in the hospitality industry through shared stories, skills, and resources.
We collaborated with CHOW to create a re-brand that reinforced wellness through group discussion by focusing on one thing: talking about it. The brand design infuses a talk bubble to showcase that talking, and more importantly feeling heard, is one of the greatest forms of healing. The color palette highlights varying shades of green, which is the color of mental health awareness, and the brand font is a combination of modern sans serif paired with a script font to emphasize connection. The result is a brand design that reinforces by talking about what hurts, we can heal.
I had the opportunity to work on the rebrand for this fantastic audio production studio in Boulder, Colorado.
My goal was to capture the fun, yet professional vibe these guys put out through a unique design style. I wanted something that would represent the art of audio sound design. The result was this musically inclined design featuring the Coupe Studios logo at the heart of it all.
Kelli Bennett Mountain Real Estate is a real estate agency located in the heart of downtown Breckenridge. Servicing the Summit County area since 1996, their team provides unparalleled service and experience to clients seeking to buy or sell a mountain home.

The result is luxurious mountain living at it’s finest.
