Lab Re-Location Update: 30th April 2024

We would like to update you regarding the extended delays you may be experiencing in receiving your reports and samples that you have sent to the Lab but have no visibility of them on our system.

As of Monday the 29th of April, the lab is operational and has some capacity for all standard analysis streams/equipment.

It is anticipated that the lab will be fully operational on Wednesday of this week.

There is still and will be for a small period delay in the registration process due to the numbers of samples received into the lab each day whilst we were in the process of moving, commissioning and re-validating the instruments in line with our accreditation requirements as we want to ensure that when data is released it remains to the high standards we and our clients expect.

There have been some unfortunate factors that were out of SGS’s direct control (e.g., electrical issues) that have caused delays in getting the lab back up to being fully operational earlier than we expected.

During this extended unforeseen downtime there has been an accumulation of samples arriving at the Lab that need to be unpacked and processed and we can say positively that this process has formally started today.

We understand certain frustrations regarding the delays, but we kindly ask for patience over this week as we begin to work through the samples starting from the oldest samples first.

Kind Regards

Lubetrend Team
